I'm on of those people from the other threads.

I think it's a good thing they allow shiro khorshid, I'm all about diversity of opinion. I hope they will support our national team.

Im sure you know that belongs to Iranians and not Reza Pahlavi. You are not anti IR exactly so your actions and words speak louder than your claims.

I am anti IR and have been for the 20 years I've been on this forum and i support your choice to support Reza Pahlavi. I'm just not convinced by the current opposition.

The biggest mistake Iran made was the 1979 revolution. Terrible!!! I just don't think complete political overhauls work, but it's only my opinion. Maybe I'm wrong that Iran will descend into anarchy and maybe Reza Pahlavi will help build the Iran will want. Only time will tell!

This I can get along with, but not with: let's try the same thing that hasn't worked before i.e. give more money and sanction relief to a bunch of proven corrupt a-holes and cross our fingers that they will do the right thing and it will work out this time eventually. It will not. They will use it for missiles, more proxy support, double down on suppressing the opposition, and they will try to go nuclear this time to cement their power over Iran for good and follow the North Korea model.

You don't fiddle with cancer if it exists in your body, you try to remove it for good if you can, otherwise it'll hang around until it kills you.

You're right, the biggest mistake was the 1979 "revolution" and forcing out a nationalist King, who was flawed (as any human-being), but cared about Iran and its prosperity more than anything else and one strand of his hair is still worth more than 1000000 mullahs combined.

The biggest way we can undo that mistake and make-up for it, is to support his son as a transitional leader to bring us back and heal a nation and its people as he's mentioned over and over again that he does not want to be the ultimate decsion making authority like his father was forced into being post 1953. Half the people that are quick to put negative labels on Pahlavi supporters don't even understand how a constitutional monarchy functions and how some of the best democratic nations out there have been utilizing it as a form of governance. If that wasn't enough, he's repeatedly mentioned that the first election held would be for the people to decide between a Republic and a Constitutional Monarchy.

I think this was the right move by Seattle. LA should have done the same.

Fans should be free to go in the stadium with any flag they wish. The biggest slap in the face of IR would be for fans to turn their back as the national anthem is playing. That footage will never be shown inside Iran because it makes IR look bad. If fans start throwing insults at players, and start fights, that would be IR's wet dream.

^ there will be thousand videos posted on Instagram which people will see. If we dont have guns, we dont have enough influence in the world, we have eachother. That will one day determine the future of Iran.

Honestly the Seattle decision was very surprising. The liberals love them some IRGC. Federally the 9th circuit is the most liberal district by a country mile. They were probably lucky enough to get in front of the few conservative judges in Seattle.

A new ruling has been made 2H ago that the flag will be banned apparently :

FIFA ban on monarchist Iran flag upheld before World Cup match

The politics of the US-Israel war on Iran continues to spill over into the World Cup, with FIFA’s ban on a monarchist flag associated with Iran’s toppled shah upheld after a last-minute court hearing in Los Angeles.

The flag resembles Iran’s official tricolour but carries the lion-and-sun emblem linked to the former Shah-led government, which was overthrown in the 1979 Islamic revolution.

It is also used by supporters of Reza Pahlavi, the shah’s son, who has tried to present himself as Iran’s future monarch.

The Institute for Voice of Liberty and Sam Kermanian, an Iran fan planning to attend the match, filed the lawsuit to lift the ban in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Thursday.

The case was fast-tracked and heard on Monday, just hours before Iran faced New Zealand at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Judge Curtis A Kin ruled that the ban could remain in place.

“Free speech is incredibly important, it is sacred, a bedrock of our society, but it is not without limitation, such as private actor, on private property, and as shown by previous cases, regulating in reasonable way. I deny the application,” he said
