    Hes playing regularly, scoring goals and confidence will be high.

    he will struggle in England, he wont get many minutes and the defenders will eat him up alive, hes too slow and weak for it..
    I'd rather be goes to England and at least trains and plays at the highest level VS showing up to world cup after only facing Garbage opponents in Greece and suddenly being smacked in the face when he finally faces real competition for the first time in 1 year+

    He's better off at last getting some helpful, relevant experience VS tough opponents before the world cup, not waiting until the tournament to face real opposition and being overwhelmed as a result.

      this is very true but he needs match sharpness. he is now playing regular 90 mins. may not be the toughest league but match sharpness is VERY important. He will get minimal mins in england

                What a run and finish! Way to synchronize his run with the pass to stay onside

                  Good goal.
                  It's huge for his club. Millions on the line.

                        interesting fact : Taremi is on the cusp of becoming the asian player with the most games in Champions league game. He is behind Son Heung-min who has 55 games. Taremi stands at 48 right now. If he plays few more games this year and few more next season he will over take Son Heung Min as the player with most games in champions league. He is also 5 goals short of taking Son Heung min as the top scorer.
                        IRI = FAILED

                          He only needs 1 more G/A to become the player with most G/A in UCL history from Asia. He tied with Son in that regard. He has more assists while Son has more goals, but total they are equal

                            Whenever I've done a search, it shows that Son has about 5-7 more goals than Taremi.

                            It's this because they're counting champions league qualification matches as well?

                              Just UCL matches. It's goals+assists. Taremi has more assists than Son.

                              Son has 19 goals and 5 assists (24 G/A)

                              Taremi has 13 goals and 11 assists (24 G/A)

                              He just needs 1 more assists or goal to be the Asian player with most contributions in UCL history.

                                Thank you for the clarification bro.

                                Wow this is impressive!

                                Especially considering mehdi only started playing in Europe at the age of 27 and Son was already in the bundesliga at the age of 17/18 I believe.
