I for one am forever grateful to an Iranian player that gives us European and champions league games to watch. He is probably the only Iranian involved at this level.

Having said that I do wish Taremi thinks back at his days in Portugal and how he roared forward and feared no one. I agree he has aged but with age comes maturity and a more clever style of play.

All these back and sideways passes he has inherited from playing for Inter and damn Inzaghi style. You could see a different Taremi on his first couple of games for Olympiacos, he has defaulted back to Inter days. Bar injury stopping him, he should continue with that positive and forward looking style of play.

Yes I know that , we just come up with justification why he should start or play , If Taremi came in and played like garbage and score a goal in a 6-1 route that there would be justification for him to start in TM in his eyes and his supporters eyes, but a coaches who works with him everyday , deemed him 4 best choice of the bench ….

reality is Taremi may have enough influence to pull enough strings to start for TM and play 90 minutes each game at WC win or lose , but logically looking at it he should be coming off the bench in 75 minutes each games , win or lose , just like what CQ did to Gucci and Dejageh at the WC 2018 in Russia , where he let Taremi and Sardar play even thought he could have brought on someone who could have won the game for us

I be short of this Taremi was a great player , he is ok now , but he is what you call a players coach , he good at sucking up to coaches ..

He’s been brilliant. His display as a link up player, gets the best out of our boy. He hasn’t played in this position since pairing up with Evanilson and Sardar. As I said before, agreed that he is not a quick player but again he showed that with age comes maturity and clever play. The commentators have been full of praise for him.
