Usually excellent for asian standards in this age bracket.

Last time was Abdi's great team some of whom are already on fringes of TM. Don't see much hope for any of these doing the same.

Luckily with the way U17 competitions work now, there is one every year or every other year, so we have a constant stream of U17 teams that will be coming in one after another

It was always like that?
I didn't watch this U17 but they had very bad results before, then I have very few hope on them. We narrowly qualify for the asian cup. they won't do anything at U17 world cup, specially with the extended participating teams. We would need more standout player than before to use the WC to export our players abroad.

its gone from bi-annual to every year. There is going to be a U17 Asian Cup and World Cup every single year from this year to 2030, all of them in Qatar
