One of the worst managed games at this level I’ve ever seen.

worse than Branko in WC 2006 and CQ in 2022.

Branko vs Mexico and CQ vs the US was legendary 😂

God I hope we don't get France or Spain at the World Cup 😭😭 they're too insane.

Rather have England again or something, even Brazil

            My analysis:

            1. Inter was outmatched: coming off several injuries and having a squad 5 years older on average, they looked gassed out vs the younger/faster PSG.

            2. Inter was outwitted: Inzaghi went with his trusted starters, many of whom were not 100%. PSG had analyzed the sht out of this formation and knew exactly how to neutralize it.

            3. Inter was outcoached: Inzaghi needed desperately to answer the poor first half performance with multiple HT subs to shock the game back to life. Instead he made trickle changes that were ineffective. The Bissek injury was just the unlucky icing on the cake.

Inter is grand pa club! They need to inject some new blood to the team! They lack big time speed in transition

I knew we are unlucky but this went above and beyond my pessimistic expectations.

5-0 loss and 0 minutes for our boy. The Iranian TM fan heartache continues

The immen$e budget difference between these two clubs can not be understated either..!!

i wonder what'$ really in it for these Ayrab ran EU super clubs, even in a good year like this, are they really operationally profitable? considering some half a billion in just the personnel expenses..?? or its all part of a bigger money laundering schemes..?

tbf, Inter vastly overachieved this season making it this far in UCL/SerieA.. even other cup competitions..!! they werent nearly as bad side as they displayed today game either..!!
they really got fked on any and all fronts in today's match from starting whistle to end..! :/ that was really brutal whopping ..!
Diz pretty much nailed it with his analysis below..!

in hindsight inter/inzaghi shoulda known better the limitations of his thin, aging squad and thrown the cup 1/4 final vs Lazio was it ?? and bow out of that useless tourney and instead saved his team's energy for a much more formidable late push in league and UCL ,..! that silly, overly contentious cup semi double fixtures vs bitter rival Milan really busted tired and injured majority of his key squad members ..!!

Mehdi being invited and accepting the TM matches is a clear indication that his time is done with Inter.

Any sane player would take this opportunity to prove themselves at the club WC, so the fact that he didn't excuse himself tells me that he knows he's finito

Am I missing something? He has 7 full days after the window to get back to Inter before their first game at the CWC.

Risking an injury and fatigue rather than staying put and training with the club is not smart.

                            Totally agree.

He was set to stay and gain some important international experience with Inter in matches that actually matter, but chose to play Qatar and NK in meaningless matches and risk injury.

11 players started for inter against PSG , inzaghi made 5 substitutions so 16 players are ahead of Taremi his ass accepting a TM invite is shameful shameless and pathetic on both his part and GN part , we are qualified why do we need him to even come , 2 meaningless games give a new player a chances , why does Taremi need to play 2 x 90 minutes why????

                              FYI
                              ….
The average age of Inter Milan's starting XI in the Champions League this season is 30 years and 19 days, making them the oldest team in the tournament. This is higher than the average age of the starting XI for Paris Saint-Germain, which is 24 years and 262 days.

The Iranian team is known to have a high number of veterans, often exceeding 30 years of age, with a smaller number of younger players

yea GN invited like a couple 19 goalkeeper or a defender who will never even play a minute to bring the TM average age down , but Iran's average is 31 years I think correct me if I am wrong that is too high ….

anyone that watched the CL finally clear saw a team that was fresh and energetic and one team that was slow and lethargic….

He wants to join the team because he wants to have fun and see his boys, most likely. Also he's treated with much greater respect in TM than in Inter and likes that. You guys always think very strategically and give dastoor to these guys but they're not AI bots. Sometimes you risk injury for having a good time
