We have also managed to become a volleyball powerhouse in the last 10 years or so also, is these federations free from the I.R cancer?

I think it's because the rest of the world don't invest on their Futsal and beach football as massively as they do on their football, so this closes that gap between us and other powerhouses

Persians used to playing g with small goals and persians are drib zan and very technical and show boaters..Futsal and beach s. Falls under my above statement.

Volleyball imo was 1 hit wonder same generation of players just growing together....

IMHO, It's all about individual vs group play. We are better at the first one hence when we need to play as a team we usually suck. Futsal and beach soccer are both based on individual skills but football is mostly a team's game.

how come we are so good in beach soccer ...? it aint like we are an awful beachy country and most of our beach footballers come from those areas..? are they???
like Webbi, i also think it has to do with iranians individuality brilliance while general inability work well as a team..? most all iroonies i know are most all about it's my way or highway and if you want something done right do it yourselfers ..including me .. we all chiefs and no indians ..!!
