how come we are so good in beach soccer ...? it aint like we are an awful beachy country and most of our beach footballers come from those areas..? are they???
like Webbi, i also think it has to do with iranians individuality brilliance while general inability work well as a team..? most all iroonies i know are most all about it's my way or highway and if you want something done right do it yourselfers ..including me .. we all chiefs and no indians ..!!

A lot of the players are probably born near shomal or the southern coast

Matches are usually in AM PST (since they are taking place in Dubai).

Next match is Iran v. Tahiti on Monday at 9am PST.

Lastly, Iran has 2,440 km of coastline (for comparison French Polynesia, of which Tahiti is the largest area, has a coastline of about 2,500 km). It's not a surprise we have some great individual beach talents from our beautiful keshvar =)

Just for fun, looked at prices for the Iran-Tahiti match on Monday. Most seats actually sold out (go TM fans!). You can buy a few seats in the back and they are $5.45 USD lol.

How come we don’t care about this as much as we should?? Me included. I’m rooting for them, but my heart isn’t just in it like regular footy. Those highlight from the Argentina game were fire though. Beautiful bicycles.

Beach soccer is actually way more exciting to watch as a fan than regular football. Lots of goals, tons of bicycle kicks (it's actually a stat they follow for each match), dance music the whole match, no offsides rule so much less interruptions. BUUUUUT...it has way less audience. So doesn't get as much hype/attention as regular football (or even futsal).

Um, TM placed 3rd in Beach Soccer World Cup in 2017, and have reached the quarter finals on three occasions (2013, 2015, 2017).

Beach soccer is actually way more exciting to watch as a fan than regular football. Lots of goals, tons of bicycle kicks (it's actually a stat they follow for each match), dance music the whole match, no offsides rule so much less interruptions. BUUUUUT...it has way less audience.
