True but they still have cities along the black sea and a few along the Caspian sea, so they are not totaly landlocked.

Before the match started I was thinking to myself 'oh boy here we go yet again in another Semi final. For whatever reason I didn't have a good feeling about this, even when we were up by 2 goals.

Nevertheless kudos to our boys for their spectacular display in this tournament. May they at least snatch the third place!

Well, I wouldn't go that far. It will still help with our ranking, our friendlies, future seeding, etc. Two third place finishes (assuming we beat belarus) in Beach Soccer WC history is nothing to be ashamed of.

3rd place is nothing new for us to be celebrating. This team needs to work on how to translate performances in Intercontinental cups to WCs.

Our problem (especially in football) is consistency in tournaments, meaning keeping up good performances over 5,6 or 7 matches.

lol totally agreed. We can’t get to R16 football WC but when our beach soccer TM barely lose to the world champions and get third place it’s not good enough.
