I used to have your line of thinking.

Unfortunately, the general lack of long term planning in Iran(politics, sport, infrastructure, economics etc) is a disease with symptoms such as patchwork fixes being called "genius".

If we lose to Turkmenistan tomorrow, the game in Turkmenistan will be a "do or die" and then General will call back the peanut gallery of Hajsafi, Cheshmi, etc for the Hong Kong, Uzbekistan games
