We are seeing less and less of our players succeed in europe the last couple of seasons unfortunately. The future of this generation currently 21-25 doesn’t look the strongest unfortunately. Allahyar and hosseinzadeh are really the only two who have gone to Europe….khodabandelou, hazbavi, yasin salmani, abolfazl jalali all have the tools to make it IMO they just need to have the khayeh to leave their comfort zones.

Exactly but I think they don't have offers at all from Europe. After seeing Taremi having zero serious interest from top club after an exceptional season I lost hope on Europe.Originally posted by Ghermez Agha View Post

Let's focus on IPL and enjoy it. Hopefully Saudi will help to raise Asia standard

A Bola linking Manchester United with an interest in Taremi. Can see this going on all summer.
Our mate, Sina Tafazoli is saying that United report is false, that Munich are waiting to see if they can get Kane. That Milan want him but won’t pay the money and that Spurs will bid if they sell Kane.
My prediction - Mehdi scores more goals for Porto next season.

Its worth keeping in mind that we no longer have CQ (and didn't for the past few years, minus a few months), who strongly encouraged European movement.Originally posted by Ghermez Agha View Post

Additionally, if Iran continues to mend fences in the Middle East and get out from some American/European sanctions, there may be less economic incentive to move to Europe than has been in the past few years...and perhaps more political incentive to go to other parts of the Middle East.
So I agree, talent is part of the equation, but so is mindset, economics and politics.

Queiroz actually picked up the phone and spoke Carvalhal, whilst no longer TM coach. He basically saved Taremi's career from languishing in Qatar at the end of that season.
Who else would do anything like that? Who?
We had a previous coach who cut off the 22 year-old IPL player of the year from the TM squad, who would have been very useful for the world cup, just because he refused to go to Dynamo zagreb and net that coach a nice little transfer bonus.
Different planets.

Saeid Mehri is close to signing with APOEL apparently
that would be a nice treat….they are in the qualifiers for conference league and 99% they will make it. Would be very refreshing to have a TM CM in a semi decent European team.Team Meli Iran
