Jafar Salmani and Saeid Mehri are both close to joining Sa Pinto's APOEL Nicosia, per Iranian and Cypriot reports. As mentioned they will be in europa conference league. Good I guess? Probably will start there, can't say I have been impressed by either, although Jafar showed some promise for portimonense early on (and frankly looked much worse at SS).

you hit the nail on the head. It’s the football IQ portion that does us in. All of our problems stem from the same thing, lack of a strong youth development system. Kids in Europe and even in America now are thought tactical concepts as soon as they start playing. Japan has used that superior model to become an Asian powerhouse despite their physical inferiority.
