Main analyst is our fellow forum member human, whose previous stint included defending Mirzapour getting 90 minutes in every game for two years, including friendlies, and saying that a backline and defensive players including Kameli-Mofrad, Badavi, Alavi, etc... is the best we have.

I would like to see his talents paired with Khodadad Azizi and Parviz Sayyad.

Are you surprised? These illiterate goons get everywhere with party bazi, not with education / credentials

The italian guy looks focused - impressed. Perhaps with Rahman Rezaei there may be a link with the italian league which proves fruitful in the future

I still believe Ghaleneoi is by far the best choice in the current situation, especially amongst iranian coaches - and at least we will get to the quarter final with him

Also good Rahman Rezaei, who of course played for years in calcio, is fluent in italian, has italian passport (and iranian-italian wife) is now also part of backroom staff and can communicate manicones ideas easily to players/GN.
Not a big fan of GN and Majidi, but appreciate they took a qualified Italian assistant

did you watch the game bro? He is waste of space. He scored from corner (due to height advantage). He f*ked up rest of the chances. If he gets invited again then GN will have lots of questions to answer.

I don't think you are realistic

Queiroz got us back from the doldrums to being competitive again for world cup qualification but that time is over. The best we can hope for is semi final - the fitness and mentality of this team is below par for Asia, and teams like Japan have two squadfuls of midfielders better than we do. We are also in a national crisis where players are arguing with each other, let alone with their own selves (the polar opposite of Iraq 2007)

Everything has to be in context

The only thing he can do is to see who scored the most goal in ipl or are the most hyped by the Iranian medias.
Be sure Moghanlou will still be around despite his pathetic 2 friendlies and euro failure, same with ghaedi after 2 goals against masjed ghassem soleimani and media hype
    Sad, but true.
