Can someone with natural gifts become a concert pianist without training and development?

Take Taremi for example. Did he improve more under 4-5 years with CQ or during the last three years in Portugal under two great coaches?

After having a team for 8+ years, saying a coach has nothing to do with player development is ridiculous.

You can't have a golden generation of footballers without anyone developing them. THEY DON'T JUST POP UP!!!

I think I am going to stop this conversation with someone that thinks a coach has nothing to do with player development.
Since when a NT coach that see a player 2 weeks every 2 months can develop him like the club coach that see him every day?

Just look at the opponents that eliminated us…. Bosnia, Iraq, Japan, US… Only Portugal was a really difficult one. And I think there was only 2 players from the first four that were considered even close to ‘world class’ at some point in their careers - Dzeko and Pjanic. And then look the coaches who beat him… I wouldn’t even give my own child as many chances as some want to give Queiroz. Enough is enough.

Let me simplify his results for you to understand that the only thing that is brain-dead is wanting to continue with this charlatan:

        2014 WC: Group stage exit
        2015 AC: QF exit
        2018 WC: Group stage exit
        2019 AC: SF exit
        2022 WC: Group stage exit

Those are the results people remember, not 1-2 good games here and there.

IFF failed with both Skocic & CQ, not only Skocic.

        "AC is AC"

What the hell is that supposed to mean?

CQ is 100% to blame for players running to the ref.
Have you already forgotten how he ran after the ref during HT vs Iraq ( 2015 AC) when we were UP 1-0?
If not for Ansarifard only god knows what he would have done to Ben Williams.
You expect the players to act differently when we have a coach like that?

Why just look at his record in Iran? He has been head coach of so so many great teams since 1991 and has failed at every club or national team that he has been to. Even when he took over Real Madrid, it took him a while to implement his system. They were winning initially until he was able to establish his system and that is when they starting losing. Of course, he was fired within a year.

Skocic came from there and gave us a miracle qualification....why not give another foreign ipl coach a chance. We don't have to marry a coach. Cq was TM coach for too long. Things got stale and unconvincing shortly after 2014.

No, just no. None of the current foreign IPL coaches are better than Yahya/Ghalenoei IMO.
CQ failed miserably, but with Skocic i heavily doubt it would have been different.

Get us a foreign coach who has at least 1 international tournament title, or we might aswell go with an iranian coach.

I agree with you, just thought it was enough to bring up his failures with us lol.

Beggers can't be choosers. We have to take the best option available. Cq was sloppy seconds and thirds of Colombia and Egypt this time around. We can definitely do better than that just from IPL. I'm not too up to date on IPL to know who the best candidates are. Merely stating if IpL can attract foreign coaches surely TM can too.

Unfortunately, none of the current foreign IPL coaches are good enough for TM.

Berdiev: Left Tractor just weeks ago, but didn't get good results during his time with Tractor.
                  Morais: Struggling with Sepahan.
Sa Pinto: Worse than CQ. I want him gone from my beloved Esteghlal.

Ghalenoei & Yahya are the best coaches in IPL atm.

Agreed. Getting a coach with at least 1 international title should be possible.

Hope you are right. Of course our first priority should be dumping CQ on another nation lol

I agree that a NT coach has less opportunity than a club coach but after 8+ years and many month long camps and two weeks here and two weeks there, those little opportunities add up. I am not talking about physical stamina or anything. Mostly a clever observation here and a pointer there can take a player to the next level.

Let's hope Qatar sign him up asap, before they realize what a huge mistake they're about to make lol.

Perhaps his attitude of not being scared would have helped us not start with eight defender. Even CQ realized his mistake and reverted to a less defensive stance by second half.

Lol typical CQ-fans making this about Skocic-CQ as soon as CQ is criticised.
And for the record, Skocic was a terrible coach.
