I am so glad members like yourself are seeing the truth behind this fraud. I remember before the WC we had very opposing views. I am curious if others will be brave enough to stand for our football which is greater than any one being.Originally posted by mehdi13 View PostBad move for Qatar. At least Sanchez tried to play football and they won Asian Cup and reached Gold Cup semi… CQ gonna do better than that? Incredible how's he made a career from being Ferguson's assistant for a few years and besides that nothing but mediocre results… Even with top players at Madrid and Portugal he underperformed…

I was pro CQ for this wc, but saw that team melli should move on….a national team coach shouldn't have more than 5 years and certainly not 10–tactics become stale, etc…Originally posted by O-ZoNe View PostI am so glad members like yourself are seeing the truth behind this fraud. It's Mehdi Taj...consider us lucky if we get one of those folks. Most likely he will try and bring some stooge from Orlando Pirates or Wilmots assistant...I guess we already had a taste of it with De Sa who was previous Pirates coach...Originally posted by PersianLion80 View Post
As long as it's not Brangoh, Ghalemorghi or Nekounam or another ozghal like them 🙏

They are no longer WC hosts. No incentive for officiating and other politics to legitimize their stance in football community. They know the only way they win AC is park bus, waste time by bezan ziresh and anti football, and hope for PKs against bigger Asian teams. CQ ball is their last desperate attempt.Originally posted by Farzadfarhangni View PostQatar is not dumb enough to sign CQ!!! No way. I don't believe it.

The usual games from the Charlatan and his mafia. Every time we consider getting rid of this guy, he gets offers from different places. No way he will go anywhere else. Where else will he get 0 expectations, hailed as a hero for failing over and over again, where else would he get credit for Iranian football doing what it has done for a hundred years before he even existed? Where else will he get fans hating and belittling their own team for his benefit? Where in the world will he be given three world cups in a row and two continental cups without any real result?Originally posted by O-ZoNe View PostWe don't deserve a lot of badbakhti...trust me CQ going is a blessing! Even my great aunt will know how Qatar will play lol. Get ready for regular bus parking and pitch inspection from close range by Qataris!
CQoolaid drinkers will stop saying he loves Iran and TM and all this bs. Even Qatar is too much for the guy. But a blessing for us.
With regards to point #2...let's see how CQ handles the legacy of stadium tear downs, human rights, and all that other stuff that will haunt Qatar. I'm sure he will demand payment before he responds to any of those controversies!!!
Edit:
Congrats everyone! Best new years gift for our football! Doha News reporting CQ is new Qatar headcoach...somewhere Mehdi Taj is cooking up his next scam in order to remain IFF boss...

Your lack of knowledge of Iranian football is alarming but you are in the right community. What is bothersome (to me at least) is your blindness toward recent information. Por rooyi ham hadi dare, all these failures and worst defeats in 12-14 years are not enough for his fans to finally spare us from their expertise. washed up are players who have failed for a decade in different tournaments but still get to start in the world cup, not those who got a chance failed and were never invited again. Please spare us your "expertise" and educated posts on Iranian football. Surely there is something you can post on any other thread.Originally posted by Hosseini View PostDejagah Gucci and Ghoddos would not have joined TM if it wasn't for CQ
This is a fact. Farzad you can revise history. These players said they were actively getting recruited by CQ HARD and rejected prior invitations from GN, atleast in Gucci's case
Before CQ, Iran's lineups: aging Kaebi, aging Zandi, aging Mahdavikia, aging Hashemian, all washed out players people like Ghotbi had to rely on
Missed out on 2010 WC to fucking North Korea
During CQ: brought the cream of the crop and an entirely new swath of players on his watch. Taremi, Dejagah, Gucci, Azmoun, Saeed, Beiro, Majid Hosseini, Amiri
Two WCQ in a row. Third one with his cohort of players
Skocic didn't introduce one new player that got consistent minutes other than Nourafkhan in his two years

Yes indeed the glory days. When coaches were fired for not getting results and results were expected from coaches. The glory days when we lost a quarter final match on penalties or in extra time to Korea and fired the coach. Those glory days when we actually beat Japan rather than look hopeless. Those glory days...Originally posted by kateb View PostThe glory pre cq time of
daie get fired, maylikohan becomes coach
Resign. Afshin gotbi gets the job,
is as glory of needing azizi out of retirement to advance
to 3rd round of wcq 2006,
the good old pre cq days
