A team will only improve once the black & white mentality is discarded, and gray colors of progress are targeted. In other words: reactive emotion must be replaced with a strong sense of logical realism.

It is clear as day, the level of progression in tournament results and player development when CQ got hired the 1st time.

When CQ came in 2011, the team was in the NEGATIVE. He had to work hard just to bring the team to ZERO. We hit POSITIVE by getting our most points in WC2018 in world cup history.

I am willing to have bet money if CQ had never left us in 2019, that would’ve made the difference in us tying the USA, since the margins were actually quite thin when the game was over. We would’ve advanced to the 2nd round for the 1st time ever.

CQ has his flaws, but his theme is always progression. We need to keep him, or find someone better, or else we will be shooting ourselves in the foot (as we always do).
We haven't won Asian cup since 1976.
1980 ac Sadam waited till iran reach semifinal
against Kuwait then do official attack..

For tm have any chance of winning 2023 ac is with cq

Best win in tm WC history is with cq 2-0
Worst lose in tm history is with cq 6-2
agai100%if there was no chaos tm would of advance from its group.
our players where scared to score goal
Since their mother would get cussed out.
cq had that to deal with😅
      ...
cq for ac 2023 is must, after that we see what will be next.

        but

the comments are fun to read
        lol at the disstrack comment!

Its so true, Its like Sko found the long lost last part of Hit 'Em Up and then sent it straight at Nabis direction.. just waiting for Tot to drop a few lines now.. Oh yeah, Sko doesnt hide behind his assistants

Maybe he read PFDC and was fumed about the Armani Bademjan posts aswell

if we have any gamecreators here, plz make a version of this game with Skokic as the Donkey Kong and Nabi as one of the Super Mario Brothers,

A bitter man w/poor CV who was handed the position of a lifetime - TeamMelli head coach. Did he take the players to World Cup or did the players take him? He fails to mention how he surrounded himself with people like Hamid Estelli and other dalals who drove the team’s agenda.

Instead of going through and liking every one of O-zone's posts, I'll just say that I agree with his every word. Also, I believe that most here have Stockholm syndrome with CQ being the hostage taker. I hope one day you can see it.

                  Yes, exactly.

Lose CQ and the team will digress. Keep CQ and we will progress.

Ok, then please provide some suitable alternatives that will a) work in Iran b) help us progress c) knows Iran well enough to function alongside the unprofessionalism of IFF

It sounds like you guys are just shouting into the sky instead of providing any solutions with the current state of the country and federation

It would be good, if FFIRI try to hire one of the following, whoever they can afford or accepts:

                      Fernando Santos (Portugal)
                      Paulo Bento (Portugal)
                      Luis Enrique (Spain)
                      Javi Gracia (Spain)
                      Vahid Halilhodžić (Bosnia Herzegovina)
                      Winfried Schäfer (Germany)

Others such as the following, are unaffordable for FFIRI and will reject anyway.

                      Zinedine Zidane (France)
                      Thomas Tuchel (Germany)
                      Marcelo Bielsa (Argentina)
                      Mauricio Pochettino (Argentina)
                      André Villas-Boas (Portugal)
                      Rafael Benítez (Spain)
                      Claudio Ranieri (Italy)
                      Cesare Prandelli (Italy)

How exactly is 3WC group stage exits and 2 failed AC progress to what we have witnessed before CQ?

CQ's generation of TM players got us to 3 consecutive world cups. CQ built the generation of players that brought us back to the world stage in a respectable form post our 2010 failure. Those were the dark ages when TM had no future. He built it from the ground up. CQ is the one who had us at the top of Asia for years. CQ is the one who helped streamline our stars like Taremi get into Portugal. Do you think another coach has the connections to do these things? All in a country with no sustainable youth system that has been remotely successful

                            Please no more CQ!

                            According to De Sa:

“To be honest with you, when we started the game, our plan was to try and get a draw, we knew that we would have to defend and make the game pretty ugly,” he said.

“Playing with five at the back, it was something that they [Iran] had never done before and we tried it out, we didn't have enough time to prepare and it failed … It was the game that the coaches put out and it didn't work at all,” admitted the coach.

De Sa said all they were thinking after receiving the fourth goal was “how to stop bleeding.”

So what can we conclude? Plan was to get a draw. The self declared one of the best coaches decided not test the system in the friendlies knowing his WC opponents and tried a novel approach against England...only to revert back to the system TM was more accustomed too and had some success with. Seems like CQ is not only incompetent but an idiot gambler. Shame on him! Taking calculated risks is one thing...gambling and hoping for luck to be on your side just plain crazy!

We also qualified for 2006 WC after 2002 WC disaster and reached the semifinals of 2004 AC. That was not considered a sucess. I don’t get your point.

Success is winning AC or qualifying for 2nd round of WC. Nothing else matters. Top of asia is worth zilch if you win nothing and fuck up 5 major tournamens.

Give any of the following coaches the same salary and bonus of CQ for the next four years guaranteed and lets see what they can produce when they know that they can't be fired and any player that tries to divide the locker room will be kicked out of the team without any ramifications for the coach. End of player salari, bring in new players without fear of losing their job. And the only player CQ helped go outside is Taremi which is interesting in itself. Taremi really did not improve at all under CQ. We can thank his coaches in Portugal for his dramatic improvement over the last three years. My coach choices over CQ are:

                                Jose Morais
                                Ali Dayi
                                Amir Ghalemoei
                                medAd pAck kon
                                tamreh hendi

In any case, we should know by now after 12 years what results we are going to get with CQ. You want more of the same? Actually, he is getting older and more sad by the day.
