Team melli next head coach candidates

Bielsa sould be a great Coach. Dont come with Nekounam or another coach without experience on that high level.

We need a World class coach, thats for sure

yeah id rather go with a korean/japanese coach over the likes of Nekounam/Golmo and Majidi etc.. we should exploit that field before we go all in on the likes of Nekounam..

CQ to 2026 get it done, or cheap iff plans to do it again? bring cq back in summer of 2025 so they save the salary money between 2022-2025

and if not CQ, I go back to my stand from 2021, bring back Hiidink from retirement before its to late.

also, if we dont sign up CQ now, iff wont get any coach before nowrooz, probably then going to postpone it and we go coachless until summer 2023-winter 2023/early 2024. then they most likely bring in a cheap bademjan or a unqualified majidi.. we been there before with iff..

with current circumstances, from state of country, government and iffs usual neverending shitshow, im happy we managed to outplay wales (bales) like we did.
without proper planning (long and short term) as Mahsaa mentioned, we wont get much further on talent and heart or what a coach manages to patch up in a few weeks.

All these are false hopes and false dreams under the iri my friend . Not one of those things will/can happen under this regime. CQ knows this too probably so no use in doing an evaluation when they won't implement one of his recommendations .

Branko goh khord! It's laughable that he thinks this highly of himself. Anyone remember 2006? If not, allow me to refresh your memory. Talentwise, that TM was arguably the most loaded we ever had. This moron never had a game plan, used the same substitution(s) regardless of whom we played, and couldn't manage the infighting within the TM camp during the WC. If anyone constantly bashes CQ, yet even remotely consider Branko for the TM job, they should get their heads examined.

It seems that the 4 Iranian coaches that FFIRI is thinking as suitable for Team Melli coach are:

Amir Ghalenoei

Javad Nekounam

Saket Elhami

The thing is all 4 are currently under contract, so how are they going to convince the clubs to let go of these coaches?

In my opinion Majidi and Ghalenoei are suitable candidates. However for ethical reasons I do not see Nekounam and Elhami suitable. Nekounam can cause tensions during the game, team under him would be divided since he would favor some players over others, he can be self-centered or malicious. Elhami behaves like a thug, so the last thing is for Team Melli to have a coach who would approach opponent's bench and start physical fight with coaches or players.

I think it would be best for FFIRI to apologize to Skocic, thank him for qualifying Team Melli for Asia Cup and reappoint him. It will be only fair.

I would keep Carlos until the Asian Cup as we don't have enough time to build a new team, not enough fifa days either next year and regardless of our results, get rid of him for a young upcoming FOREIGN coach and give him 3-5 years to build a team. Regardless of who becomes our next coach, I don't think our team can do much in the next WC, we don't have enough GOOD young players right now and the core of our team will be too old by then (some already are).
