They’re hot and cold with Iran relations. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Bosnia again. Or even Turkey but that won’t be till 2026.

Also I know iff and Saudi fa want a friendly but both want to guarantee qualification before booking. Saudis are concerned they may have to full up their friendly dates with playoff qualifiers.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but our friendly situation right now is looking like:

September 2025 - CAFA Tournament
October 2025 - Russia and Venezuela
November 2025 - None yet (I remember hearing something about Saudi for November, was it BS? Probably)
March 2026 - Potentially Turkey and Belgium (if Belgium stops extorting us?)
April 2026 - None yet
June 2026 - Optional closed door world cup friendlies two weeks before tournament (none)

I really did nothing. I don't even know why I got banned. I believe one of the mods would go throw your posts and if you didn't have some sort of revolutionary anti TM post in your history he/she would ban you!

As it stands, Kyrgyzstan and North Korea are both playing for GOOZ next window. If GN does not play our youngsters in June against these teams after securing qualification this window, I really don’t know what to say

Someone finally pointed out that all green kit against green grass background is not a good way for team members to find each other on the field.

It was probably the local gardener hired to water Azadi before the match, who likely has a higher IQ than most of TM staff combined.

I think the thing is uae, Qatar , North Korea and Kyrgyzstan just aren’t as clinical going forward as the other groups

I think we’ve been lucky too as uae and Qatar have been on a steep decline both defended really poorly throughout the group stage plus the horrific conditions in Laos killed off Qatar’s campaign . North Korea’s antics which banned them from home games of course made them a lot weaker

All in all both the 2022 and 2026 World Cup qualification campaigns we faced teams that were on a huge downward trajectory compared to 2010 when we saw a North Korea team over perform whilst our aging squad struggled for goals

Issue is Asian opposition is too weak to expose gn

we have issues but uae and Qatar’s defensive woes made us look a lot better than us

Kyrgyzstan and North Korea just are really weak all together and arguably shouldn’t even be at this stage
