Eckert is not coming. Our federation is too incompetent to figure it out. They just sent Foolads U15 academy team to represent Iran because they didn't have enough time to put together makeshift team

we only played against one team that could potentially be in the World Cup , Uzbekistan, and if they are there , they would be a 4th seed and considered one of the weaker teams in the whole tournament.

The results we achieved against this team , are a good indication of where we stand at this point in time if the World Cup was played this summer, 2 losses and 1 tie , so considering this, We need changes to happen, so the team is stronger.

WC2026 will be a very easy tournament if you , plan and play your cards right , but best of all , you actually take the best players we have!

there are so many players who at this moment in time are not the best , but are still playing in TM.

Ultimately its because Taj doesn't really care about the development of our football, he has political ambitions and footballs is just a means for him to have influence. A lot of the recent good rules/Friendlies were laid in place by the previous administration who put Skocic in charge unironically even though they were just as incompetent

, tractor won the league but it wasn’t because khalizadeh was a defensive rock , they had a strong attack , and all the mistakes khalizadeh made strikers in the IPL can’t really capitalize…


he is a good player who can come in at like 75 min as a substitute or cause of injury , but to start the game with him …


same with a player like jahanbakash who is not even in the 22 player list anymore at herveenven and he is Tm captain , I am tired of a player like this with a guaranteed roster spot , like he should be dropped for sure ,,, he had wayyyy to make chances with TM already ….

i feel the same about ezzat as well like he and even Sardar to a bit , but GN got to man up and let other players prove themselves….

Unfortunately no matter how much we see the writing on the wall, when it comes to the world cup it's going to be exactly like 2022. We will need a moment of brilliance to win any serious game, and will probably lose most of them.

Just what happens when the coaching staff neglected to build youth depth and address defense for the last 30 games.

Expect the same amount of choking around until team melli has a serious coach at the helm again who can fight our incompetent federation to build something.

Emphasize youth to GN means 30 yr olds.

Right now we have the leisure only a few have of being able to plan our setup over a year in advance.

There is a devastatingly gross lack of ambition permeating our culture now.

We need to know what formation we will have. What players are in contention.
What do we do in case of a red card?
What do we do if we need to defend a lead?
What to do if we go down a goal?

It's disappointing that someone as a coach in Iran for 40+ years doesnt want to shoot slightly above the expected.
