With Fooladshahr's pitch quality, that will play exactly into Kyrgyzstan's style. Long air balls because the damn field won't allow us to play possession football.

In Kyrgyzstan, they are used to flat grass fields. Fooladshahr (or most of our other stadiums) will impede them more than us (🤞 🤞 🤞)

I mostly agree with PSG jans list. Only changes id make is that you need a good mix of young and old. IMO my 26 man squad is:

GK: Beiro, Hosseini, Rafiei (Or Khaledabadi/Payam Parsa)
RB: Hardani, Moharrami
LB: Reyvandi, Jalali
CB: Kanaani, Hazbavi, Fallah, Aghasi
DM: Eza, Ghorbani
CM: Hosseinejad, Aref Haji Eydi (how come no one talks about this guy? He's pretty good in the league pretty consistently)
Wingers: Gholi, Ghaedi, Mohebi, ARJ, Allahyar
Striker: Taremi, Azmoun, Saharkhizan, Zahiroleslam.


Couple Notes:

• Shakouri should be called up when he's 20-21 and has had a bunch of caps and experience gained. He's at the U21 level and still developing nicely, but if we call him up now and he concedes everyone is gonna be like "This is what happens when you start youngsters" (even some people here).
• Andarz is going to Spain right after the U21 camp ends. IF he gets play time he SHOULD be called up over Hardani no question, anyone who has seen him play know's hes a beast.
• TM really needs to switch to 4-3-3....half of our problem is we try too hard to make 4-4-2 work and it ruins us in every but attack.

I put shakouri because all our gk without exception have big weakness. 2 GK should be enough for two wcq without relying to the 3rd. Shakouri, with the hope he develop to something consistent later need the camp experience and build his confidence. No need to waste it to someone like Niazmand we all know won't never become a big GK, not even reach prime beiro level.

About haji eydi, I don't know him but he is already 25. We don't need short term solutions that will only become some Noorafkan sarlak level : good for IPL, not enough for international level

Hajsafi is not even in the squad list anymore at AEK Athens he is not playing ,,,, no way we need these dinosaurs to beat Krygzystan and UAE…

RAMIN AT 35 RUNNING CIRCLE AND IS PROBABLY IN BETTER SHAPE THAN ANY TM PLAYERs and offensively he is lovely despite his defense errs.

I DONT MINED BOTH RAMIN hs as long as they are in shape and don't start and be on the bench as insurance in a 25 man roster.

that'll buy him a lot respect and tolerance for inclusion in TM call ups from me despite his old asss ..!!

also these past 2 years or so, i've noticed eshsan in best form and fitness of almost his entire TM career ?? so i dont know about just dropping him cold if younger replacements are not in good shape and form raring to take over..!!?

Regardless of all that ☝️ I still expect less and less playing minutes from the Oldies and more risks taken with promising youngsters especially so considering the fact that IFF repeatedly fails miserably in terms of scheduling some useful and semi competitive friendlies and because of the generally tokhmy opponents we are facing in this WCQing rounds ..!!

defo need to see a healthy mix of must have oldies and some promising youngsters in our sept. internationals..!

Unfortunately we won't have friendlies for a LOOONG time due to AFC qualifiers. I think till September 2025? Then from then until Summer 2026 we have 10-12 friendly slots.

I agree on the Haj Safi and Ramin thing, but the problem with that is GN won't actually take risks on the younger players and he doesn't have a real "vision" on how to advance forward the team. So we're gonna be in a situation next AC/WC where Ghoddos/Ezatollahi gets injured and Hosseinejad or Salmani have to come in and they've only played internationally for maybe 50 minutes and have zero chemistry with the rest of the players.

The importance of youth is also building depth so you don't end up playing 32 year old Azmoun every single game in AC and then back him up with 37 year old Ansarifard once he gets injured. You wanna have 32 year old Azmoun come off and get replaced with a pacey and hungry player like Saharkhizan who has been integrated with the team

He's not lol. Its just Esteghlalis who want him called up because he scored 2 VAR penalties. He's still good offensively but thats not what TM needs. Our problem is not scoring goals, its soorakh defense. If Ramin starts everyone should be GN out tbh.
