When it comes to shoja and this asian cup i 100% agree with you. Him and Milad were the best. I mean in general. Ramin and Kaanani dont have less of that same issue either.

This is not true. First you tried to tell us beiro is a good gk still and now shoja. Shojas positioning is awful. Even during Skocics time he was awfully positioned. He just plays with heart and thats what many iranian footballers do which costs team melli so many games. No use of their brain.

Shja was Arguably the most consistently best performing TM player at AC..!!
He is just a Different type of CB(more combative and in-your face) than the more of a well-poised and well-positioned kind (kannani/majidi) ..!
imo, ideally you need both types to make a hard to crack formidable CB Pairings..!!
the 2 of them also complemented each other well and Huge reason behind relatively successful spell of skoocher @TM helm.

Shoja just got this bizarre/stupid looking Gangsta-LEANED-Back general posture when he is passing/kickin the ball and that creepy looking, unsettled seeming angry playing demeanor, that makes him look a lot worse of a footballer than he actually is .!!

This is a good point and I agree with this but age has caught up with him. He clearly can't play this style anymore as evident with how exhausted and injured he was at AC.

Dude was limping after every match goes back to show how bad squad selection was if our best back up CB was Cheshmi and Fallah/Yousefi were never planned on being used

true... we definitely need some new blood brought on slowly in our fast aging and vastly depleted CB position ..!
both Shoja and Kannani need to be slowly phased out..!!
normally i rate Kannani much more than Shoja but heard he has some more recent serious knee issues and his overall underwhelming AC performance was quite indicative of that..!!
if he can't get over his knee problems soon, imo it'll be wiser to phase him out quicker than Shoja who regardless of his age still was battling it out quiet admirably throughout the AC (busted ankle n all..!)

it is far FAR more Difficult to look formidably good in CB Position playing for the Haphazard seeming, supposed Hojoomi GN's TM footballing tactics than it ever was playing for CQ's ...! too often our DMs/ CMs and Wingbacks pushed far into attack leaving our CB exposed with tons of space to cover on swift counters..!
