This is seriously getting out of hand now. Let's all agree to disagree.

This is a football forum, and people should be free to discuss football without being attacked no matter what you think of the players. There are other forums to discuss politics. People insulting each other should get warned no matter what opinions they have. Whether they support TM or not.

I believe it can be quite an uncomfortable situation to be in for the players. What do we expect them to say? "Thank you USA and Israel for bombing us and put the lives of our families at risk?"

As far as I know, some players took a stance during the January protests and rightly so, but I'm not gonna judge the players who didn't. Some of them have probably been threatened before and are scared to speak out. Call them spineless if you want, but we are not facing the same consequences as they may be by writing anonymously on this forum.

It's not all black and white. I absolutely hate the animals running Iran and the goons working for them, but that doesn't mean I agree with the people celebrating and kissing the ass of Trump when thousands of innocent people are getting killed all around the region.

IR put themselves in this situation due to years of incompetence. No one can argue against that, but the two other parties involved are certainly no angels neither.

Imagine yourself in the players shoes. Pretend that you are a professional footballer and have the chance to play against the best teams in the world when millions are watching. Most players would not decline that chance, no matter nationality or their countries political situation.

Not trying to create a further discussion, but I think it's important to see why we all think differently.

At the end of the day, we all want a free Iran. IR have embarrassed the shit out of us ever since they took control, so I hope the footballers can bring some joy to the people.

Let us enjoy our football. Let athletes have their own opinion. Play the sport they dedicated their life to, and represent their country.
