But is he wrong ?!?
mexico which has everything better than us , lost 4-2 to swiss, and so the USA lost 2-1 to turkey ,
both the USA and Mexico are better than us aren’t they and they aren’t even strong teams ..!
so yea we will probably lose to a good European team 4-0 , right now with the joke of the coach we have and no direction or plan at all …. You guys acting delusional again even last World Cup we did bad we still had a decent coach in CQ who at least was professional about a lot of things but he just got his tactics wrong the last game against the USA if we was just balls enough and played more offensively we could have tied or won
GN the clown is getting everything wrong ,
Trust me we will be an entertaining embarrassment at these years world cup 2026 , if GN remains the coach …
A Tier
Argentina Spain France Portugal etc
B Tier
USA , Mexico , Columbia, Italy , etc
C Tier
Japan , Korea, Australia Egypt , maybe Iran
D Tier
Uzbekistan, Jordan , New Zealand, etc
the FIFA ranking are not a true and accurate reflection on anything, are we really better than Switzerland (20) , Denmark (21) , turkey (27) , Sweden(28) , Serbia (31) , Algeria (36) and so on
Norway 38
Ivory Coast 41
Nigeria 43
based on these very ranking’s Uzbekistan ranked 57 in the world we couldn’t beat them and Qatar ranked 55 in the world we lose twice to them ????!!
think about it ?

Whether you liked CQ or not, he had a clear vision with the team. This is why our 2018 WC squad performed well. His 2022 WC campaign, was not his team. But the team he had to work with in a short amount of time.
He emphasized youth development, and brought in players like Dejagah, Ghoddos, and Gucci.
GN’s approach is getting results with our “reliable” veterans. He is squandering valuable time and hurting our future.
He needs to leave.

He held camps for PGPL players outside of Fifa days, actively participated in recruitment and development for our U17-U23, sent our players abroad etc.
There would NO Taremi at Inter without CQ calling Carvalhal to recommend him. He quite literally opened the door for the wave of Iranians that went to Portugal after, from Mehrdad Mohammadi, Alipour, Niazmand, to Mohebi. A lot of them failed over there, but the whole reason Portugese and EU clubs even looked at Iranians is because CQ sent Taremi and a few others to Europe.
Not to mention he would quite literally not call you up if you were in UAE most of the time unless you had immense talent that could not be ignored. He gave clear preference to players in better leagues.

we have reached that point right now , were we need someone like CQ to come and clean house ……
I am sorry brother and sisters on here , but if GN is not removed in the next 2 max 3 months , as the coach we are doomed and I would never wish this , but idk maybe someone else can correct me , but I have this major feeling that IRI has told this team that , if things go sour with the whole nuclear negotiations, they just going to pull TM from the WC 26 , so I mean I can understand if they going to do that , why they don’t care and just leaving GN there , but if not we doomed and it just going to be an embarrassment..

Jesus christ people. Let's get some things straight.
CQ invited an injured Dejageh and a completely wash Shojaie to the WC 2018.
He didn't even fill up our roster for the last WC even though we had the oldest squads in the whole tournament.
He also invited plenty of players who were playing in the PGPL and the Khaleeji leagues.
This non-sense about "CQ would never reward out of shape or money chasers" is simple revisionism. He was just as much of a dinasaur-parast as GN.
We can debate his coaching skills and mentality, but let's not just make up stuff.
