Persianfootball.com – DUISBURG, German-Iranian goalkeeper, Daniel Davari, has completed his move to 2. Bundesliga side MSV Duisburg.

After a disappointing season with Arminia Bielefeld, Davari has signed with MSV Duisburg on a free transfer. His contract with the ‘Zebras’ will be for a duration of two years.

Davari was called up to Team Melli in the summer of 2013 and was also a member of the Iranian National Team selection that headed to the World Cup 2014 finals in Brazil.

Prior to his move to MSV Duisburg, Davari’s career saw him ply his trade with FSV Mainz 05 U23, TSG Wieseck, SV Garbenteich Country, Eintracht Braunschweig, Grasshoppers Zurich, and Arminia Bielefeld.

“I know MSV from many encounters in the past. Especially the arena, the fans and the great atmosphere. It is a traditional club and I am looking forward to a great time.”

MSV Duisburg is one of the original members of the German Bundesliga upon its creation in 1963. They participated in the 3. Liga during the 2016-2017 season, finishing in first place and promoting to the 2. Bundesliga for the upcoming 2017-2018 season.
