Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Persepolis and Iranian international striker Mehdi Taremi has been linked with a move to Russian Premier League club Terek Grozny.

The 23-year old striker, who is the current top scorer of Iran Professional League, has scored 11 goals in 14 appearances in all competitions so far.

The Chechnya based club, who is currently sits in 7th place of the Russian Premier League table, has reportedly offered a $1m bid to sign Taremi.

Sardar Azmoun of Rostov FC is currently the most famous Iranian player in the Russian Premier League.

Taremi, who joined Persepolis in the summer of 2014, has not reacted to the offer but it seems that he is eager to stay with Persepolis at least until the end of the season.
