AFC – DUBAI, Tractorsazi have struggled in the AFC Champions League this season, picking up just one win in their opening five games and they are rooted to the bottom of the group, one point behind Al Ahli.

They will be without Farshad Ahmadzadeh, who is suspended after being sent off in the game against Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli on Matchday Five and coach Toni Oliveira admitted his focus is now on the Iranian club’s domestic campaign.

“I previously expected Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia and their namesakes in UAE would qualify from the group,” said the Portuguese coach. “We were not ready for the competition as our concentration was on the local league.

“We have a chance to win the title in Iran and despite the fact we have already lost any hopes of advancing, we will give our best in the match tomorrow. We will miss some players, but hopefully we have good replacements for them.”
