Registration for ACL, AFCC KO stages

AFC – KUALA LUMPUR, AFC has reminded participating member associations to register their players and officials for the AFC Champions League 2011 (ACL) and AFC Cup 2011 (AFCC) knockout stages by August 13.

AFC on August 8 reminded member associations to email and courier the registration forms and supporting documents by the deadline or their clubs will be deemed to have registered the same players as those in the preliminary stage.

AFC said the registration of players and officials will not be facilitated and processed for the knockout stages if AFC does not receive all clear and complete documents.

Clubs from IR Iran, Japan, Korea Republic, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are participating in the knockout stage of the ACL which will commence on September 14.

In the AFCC’s knockout stage, which will kick off September 13, six countries — Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Thailand and Uzbekistan — are taking part.
