Phenomenal comeback by the team. We likely lose to Australia as they’re a whole different level but podium finish in 3rd place is attainable

3rd place will be hard too you have china, New Zeland and Lebanon that could potentially face us in 3rd place game.

We have to go hard against Australia and try to get a win. if we play like we did today we wont win. we need to bring a good energy and play a solid defense.

Interesting fact: Iran came back from 21 points to win the game against Taiwan, and New Zealand came back from 22 points to beat Lebanon

Tough game tomorrow I hope we can pull a big surprise against Australia

Iran gets CREAMED by Australia today 92-48. pathetic performance. Although I know our level is different, but we should not lose by such big margin.

As I predicted, we beat New Zealand to finish 3rd in the tournament.

Congrats to the team for comeback from a nightmare game to win against NZ. 3rd place.

Australia edged China to win the championship again.

3 straight Asian Championship for Australia

French league is starting up this weekend. Nancy’s first game is tomorrow against ASVEL

This will be a vital season for Amini to take the next step and prove himself to NBA scouts. He’s expected to have a more featured role as a consistent starter this season so he will have the opportunities to prove it in a league that’s been producing many NBA draft picks in recent years

Missed the first game of the season but just played his first game in the 2nd of the season. Played very well

19 points on an efficient 6/9 FG, 8 rebounds, 2 assists

Strong start to his 2nd season as a Senior level pro

Through 3 games, Amini has locked himself in as a starter in the French league and is averaging 13.3ppg, 5.3rpg, and 2apg. While this isn’t going to be sustainable, he’s been extremely efficient with 70% FG, and 40% 3P.

if he can maintain approximately the same counting stats (I think he might even increase it as his coach trusts him more with taking more shots) and hover close to 37-40% from 3, he will have done everything he can to get himself in position for the 2026 draft

Next game 10/25 against the last place team in the league

Parsa Fallah is putting up great numbers for Oklahoma State University in the NCAA. His team is 9-0 right now. Hopefully he keeps this up and possibly has a good chance for NBA draft.

To increase his chances of NBA draft by playing in a conference that is more famous and has better scouting. Big 12. Unfortunately, he has used up all his time, 2 years with South Utah, I think, 1 year with Oregon Ducks, and now with OK state.

On a side note, I follow him on Instagram. From the posts that he makes, he has become a "born-again Christian." I do not really care about that. He can do what he wants, but the way he makes daily Jesus posts is a bit irritating to me and honestly turn off. Just because you post daily does not make you more or less of a Christian. Keep that shit to yourself.

The reason we are in this predicament with our country is precisely this: everyone's religion is their own for their own. I am not sure if it is wife (he married an american) or he is trying to get US residency by going throw church and this is just part of the plot. Either way I find it annoying.

He still goes back and forth to Iran so maybe it's to placate his wife's family, or shayad jav gereftash (zeal of a convert).

I'm with you in terms of being more private about out religious viewpoints, but half the online sphere would call you an arzeshi for daring to say anything like that about an Iranian in the States who appears to be Christian.
