    Iran will send 8 skiers (4 men and 4 women) in ski world championship between 7 and 21st February

                      Behnam KIA SHEMSHAKI finished 69th (the other 3 Iran men's runs today did not finish)

                      Atefeh AHMADI finished 46th (the other 3 Iran women's runs today did not finish/qualify).

                        I was surprised to see israelis and lebanese above us but the israelis are all born and raised in Europe (London, Budapest). Not sure about the lebaneses.

                          The Lebanese are all full/half expats who live in France and reside in Europe season-round.

                              The issue is our Diaspora does not play for Iran. The closest we have are people like Ashkan or Zandi, etc.
