I didn’t start watching football until 1990 when I was 6, that World Cup is my earliest memory, I remember the Cameroon players treatment of Argentina in the opening game. The pain in his face when they lost the final.

He is a legend, he had a lot of demons and he definitely lived a life. What an amazing player he was and possibly scored the greatest World Cup goal of all time.

I'm not surprised but it was thanks to him and the World Cup 1986 that I became the biggest fan of football.
