Everything is going according to plan for CQ at Colombia:

His first Asian Cup with Iran we got eliminated in penalties in the 1/4 finals.

His first Copa America with Colombia they got eliminated in penalties in the 1/4 finals.

Interpolation: In next Copa America COL will get eliminated in the semis with a big loss!

Maybe Carlos can come back to Iran and coach one of the clubs now.

no way dude haha. you think he’d coach persepolis [emoji23]

Obviously Chile is a superior team and despite Colombia's over achievement in the group stage it was obvious that they weren't going to win the whole thing.
Let's see what Carlos is going to achieve with this team in Qatar WC.

I know this is a delayed reaction but I was just thinking, it’s kinda disappointing CQ didn’t bring Markar to Colombia with him. He was with CQ for so long you would have thought he’d bring him as an assistant but I guess CQ wanted fresh faces around him aside from oceano

As much as I'm excited for and cheering for TM under Wilmots, I still miss the King...

Colombia 3 - Peru 0

hopefully people now understand that CQ is not just a defensive coach and makes adjustments based on the talent level and the competition he faces. He's beaten panama and peru with a 6 goal margin

Colombia manager Queiroz (after 3-0 win against Panama): "We always have to improve, but we were solid today. I wanted my players to play with confidence and we created a lot of chances, more than 20 shots on goal. We still have to work on a few things though."

Classic CQ. We miss you CQ! Love and respect.
