If he was an opportunist he'd be able to clearly see Iran is a wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy better team than Australia whose is only getting stronger especially since our U-17 beat Germany, so he would have choose Iran. Respect to Arzani for not being an opportunist and choosing Australia and choosing National Pride over Silverware and metal. Good kid that lad.Originally posted by Persian-Pride87 View PostI don't follow this kid closely but he does seem like an opportunist. Why is there so much hype about him? Is he that good?

before u speak about respect u should have some too. too many buttert Iranians....all insulting him... he's a kid....Originally posted by AliDaeiClone View PostNo one is butthurt. If he had an ounce of class and respected the whole process like other players have done, I think everyone would respect his choice. But he didnt. He demanded a WC spot and then didnt even thank Iran for considering him. I don't care if he is good or bad on the pitch, he has no class off it.

He's not 12 years old. He is old enough to held accountable for his actions. He took an extremely selfish approach to the whole situation and I have no problem calling him out for it.Originally posted by ferdyf View Postbefore u speak about respect u should have some too. too many buttert Iranians....all insulting him... he's a kid...."Formerly known as AliDaeiClone"

So what? Who said it wasn't? It's everyone's "own life." That doesn't mean anyone is above criticism. And the one that isn't over it is you, going back and quoting weeks old posts... Is he your boyfriend?Originally posted by ferdyf View Postselfish? its his life get over it"Formerly known as AliDaeiClone"

He was born in Khorramabad and lived in Iran until he was 7. Longer than many of us thought, makes me dislike him even more that he lived in Iran for his first 7 years and turns his back on the country in which he is from.
If he had been born and lived in Australia all his life I think it would have been much easier to accept.

He wanted to join Iran if we took him to World Cup (so respect to him on that part). Also if you follow him on Instagram you can see from the pages he follows he accepts and is proud of being Iranian.Originally posted by irani8perspolis View PostHe was born in Khorramabad and lived in Iran until he was 7. The problem is CQ choose to invite shit players and player he has connections to, rather than choosing ones like Arzani who have potential for the future.

If he was really proud of being Iranian, he wouldn't change his nationality to make it to a tournament. Azmoun incidentally was in the same situation as Arzani in 2014 (Russians offered to naturalize him to play for their team).Originally posted by Hoorad View PostHe wanted to join Iran if we took him to World Cup (so respect to him on that part).
