Iran U 16 is in the finals of the Asian U 16 championship. Iran will play pakistan. In the 2nd round iran lost 3-0 to Pakistan. Top three teams qualify for the U 17 world cup. Hopefully iran can win the championship. Iran was the champion last competition.

Our U 16 lost to Pakistan in the final. 3-2. They were up 2 sets to zero and end up losing the final. Still a great achievement. they qualified to U 17 WC next summer.

We missed out on the elimination round as Serbia lost to Slovenia 3-2.
Also China despite finishing 17th, gets a spot in the next round due to being hosts.
Iran finished 8th.

Team has lots of hope for the future. Needs to continue playing high level matches and prepare for the ultimate goal. Olympics.

Also I hope the coach doesn't leave TM Volleyball considering the circumstances in Iran.

We barely missed the play off. Great show by our team. We had couple of bad loses early on during the tournament, where we could have done better. But much better performance then last season. This performance will keep us in this league for another season.


Interesting fact: During the game between France and Iran, our player Morteza Sharifi broke the record for the fastest spike in Volleyball history with a speed of 139 km/h

FIVB U 19 World Championship starts tomorrow in Uzbekistan. Iran is an Pool C with Italy, Egypt, Tunisia, Poland and Spain.

Hopefully we can finish in top 4.

Iran wins Tunisia 3-0 and Egypt 3-0.

Last game of the group phase tomorrow against Italy. Iran will most definitely qualify for the round of 16.

iran loses to Italy 3-1 and finishs in 4th place and in the round of 16 will face Pakistan who finished 1st in the group.

Pakistan has a very good team and it will be a very tough match for TM. wont be surprised if we lose to them.

Iran beat Belgium in the round of 16 and will play STRONG FINLAND on Aug 1 in the 1/8 round.

Iran wins against a very good Finland Team 3-1. They are in the Final 4. will face another tough match France tomorrow.

U 21 world championship is underway in China. Iran won their first game. They are grouped with Poland, South Korea, Canada, Kazakhstan and puerto rico.

Iran is the defending champion from 2023.
