Iran beat Nederland 3-2. Not the prettiest win, but we’ll take it.

couple of weeks off and then a heavy match against Poland.

Good second week by Iran, got 8 out of 12 possible points and kept them in the race for the final round. hopefully they can make it to the next round. a two week break is much needed for this team. Week 3 is tough

Iran U 16 is in the finals of the Asian U 16 championship. Iran will play pakistan. In the 2nd round iran lost 3-0 to Pakistan. Top three teams qualify for the U 17 world cup. Hopefully iran can win the championship. Iran was the champion last competition.

I keep saying that IFF should look at the IVBF and figure out how to approach youth development.
We've been dominating youth volleyball in Asia for a decade + now. Even at world level, our youth do very well.

if you look at the stats, iran dominates asian volleyball from U-16 to U-23. But some how we fall apart in Adult volleyball and can't perform the same way.

Not sure what the disconnect is. But you are right, the federation has done an amazing job with scouting and developing the talent. Other federations need to take note.

It's just exposure to high level volleyball.
We are still a consistent top 15 world volleyball team, even with the lows.

Imagine our football could say that.

If our volleyball had more exposure to Euro volleyball at youth levels, we'd be even better off.

I think we have more european bases players in volleyball then in football

We beat Bulgaria 3-0. Now all eyes on Serbia-Slovenia

We missed out on the elimination round as Serbia lost to Slovenia 3-2.
Also China despite finishing 17th, gets a spot in the next round due to being hosts.
Iran finished 8th.

Team has lots of hope for the future. Needs to continue playing high level matches and prepare for the ultimate goal. Olympics.

Also I hope the coach doesn't leave TM Volleyball considering the circumstances in Iran.
