Side note ... but the stadia are remarkably empty. Went to London 2012 and watched Iran win 3 golds ... suffice it to say it was packed. Seems to be general trend at Rio for the so called lesser sports. Perhaps it's too expensive for the locals?

Likely because foreign tourists have not flooded Brazil due to political instability, security issues, and zika news.
