I think we are in even if we loose both games. China and Ausi play each other, also China will play Canada, so from all these three teams(all beaten by IRN) only one can possibly win both their games, so we will be thru even if as number 4!

the best part about being in the Olympic is that we will collect some points for the FIVB Ranking. Which will help us move up the world ranking. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIVB_World_Rankings

we can easily collect some valuable points by just being in the olympic

Actually we are pretty much through right now, but we should beat Venezuela anyway just to be sure.
So if we beat Venezuela, we're definitely through, or it still is pending, based on China's game? LOL the comments in this regard in this thread is in such huge contrast that got me all confused

I wanted to thank you yesterday but server was too busy and I could not post. Thanks again for your time.
Ditto, I also wanted to thank him, but the server was busy, actually PFDC server every single night around our midnight is down and it won't load the forum. I brought this up to Kamran jaan before. I have had this problem for the past several years. I believe Nokhodi jaan also has been encountering this issue.

Let's not forget after Kovac there was a very bad mood and attitude in TM. Its already getting better. Key is to peak just in time for the Olympics.
Also since when did China get so good? They were nowhere to be seen for the past 5 years and all of a sudden this year they're the 2nd best Asian team.
I actually think Lozano has great tactics. He calls for Challenge and also for timeout when you have to. He also changes the rhythm of the team when the team is not performing by subbing players quickly.. Nothing wrong with that at all. I find him very much in tune with this team. China is a strong team, they play simple but they are too tall. It is hard to spike when you have 2.08 meter guy right in front of you. Even Poland had problem with China. So let's not underestimate them. Also it is good for Iran to have a serious contender so we don't get complacent. Our boys are too emotional and that's where we are vulnerable. Also our average height is shorter than most teams so our defense is not as good but we have a killer offense.

it depends on China and Tunisia.
for example if both of them qualify, we will be grouped with Egypt and Tunisia !
if China qualifies and Tunisia fails, we will be grouped with China and Egypt
if China fails to qualify and Tunisia qualifies, we will be grouped with Cuba and Tunisia
if both fail to qualify, we will be grouped with Cuba and Egypt
Sure thing, but I didn't bother getting that much into it I just shared how the groups will roughly look like.

Yes, Russia, Poland and Argentina are for certain.

The other two are not certain.
