Could also be AKA Thailand for UFC Asian events primarily as well as Russia/Europe. Don't think US is possible for him at the moment but surprised UFC signed an Iranian through this time.Originally posted by Ejdeha View PostIt's not a rumor it's official. Huge news. I wonder if during tale of the fight he will be fighting out of Iran or Sweden or something

Lol....
Over the weekend, Brazilian publication Combate reported that the UFC had signed highly-regarded heavyweight prospect Amir Aliakbari. ESPN subsequently verified this report. Unfortunately, these reports seem to have been premature — at least partly so. Absolute Championship Akhmat (ACA), the promotion that Aliakbari has called home for his last few fights, is claiming that the […]

Jones isnt a heavyweight and would only move up for a huge fight against a champion or DC. DC only has maybe 2 or 3 fights left in his career. He will be long retired before Amir is in a position to fight him. I'd love to see Amir fight Greg Hardy. That would be a perfect first or second fight for Amir.Originally posted by Philosophy_King View PostWould be a dream if Amir could fight Jon Jones or DC..."Formerly known as AliDaeiClone"

This doesn't surprise me. I know that Amir signed a 4 fight contract with ACA. Amir has only fought 3 times for ACA so he should have 1 fight left. However, the ACA has canceled at least two fights that Amir was supposed to fight in. There also might be a time limit on the contract so that ACA couldn't hold Amir hostage by failing to schedule fights. This will all depend on the exact language of the contract but I am sure it will be worked out soon.Originally posted by Farhad-7 View Post"Formerly known as AliDaeiClone"

He signed a 4 fight deal and only fought 3 times. However, most fight deals have a time period for those fights to occur and also ACA merged with another company which could trigger other mechanisms contractually.Originally posted by EKBATAN View PostDoesnt he still have to fight 1 more in the other organization?
Not sure if this is still the case
Also, looks like ACA conceded:

However, Aliakbari's team paid compensation to ACA for early release! I think it is so ridiculous, he was promised 4 fights in and ACA did not deliver. In my opinion, Aliakbari's team should have not paid a penny to ACA.Originally posted by The Farbod View PostHe signed a 4 fight deal and only fought 3 times. So when is actually going to have his first fight? I am pretty sure that he can become champion one day. Fighters with wrestling background show that they are superior to others.Originally posted by rooyintan View PostHowever, Aliakbari's team paid compensation to ACA for early release!
