Honestly, he's not that bad. His ground game is pretty solid and he can submit people from the top or in guard. The problem is Amir is a bad matchup for him. That fight won't go to the ground unless Amir wants it to go to the ground and as you saw, Amir wanted to finish that fight on the feet. I think King was hand picked by Amir's camp because of this matchup issue.

When I used the term guard I meant "in the guard" which is a grappling term used when a fighter is in top position of another fighter, but the bottom fighter has both legs in front of the top fighters legs.

In terms of their stand up, King is dogshit on the feet. He has no clue what he is doing. Amir fought extremely offensively on the feet because he knew King has no chance to knock him out. He isn't going to do that against a polished striker.
