Not to mention the death chants.

Funny, my understanding of the situation is the exact opposite... First of all, when did Serbia try to take part of Albania?

Secondly, the animosity between the two countries stemmed from Albania instigating unrest in Kosovo for separatism during the Yugoslav wars. That's exactly what Saddam was doing in Khuzestan both pre and post revolution.

And if anything the Albanians came on top by eventually splitting Kosovo from Serbia and all that is in the past and both countries have full diplomatic relations now.

On that note, I find waving an extremist victory flag that says we'll come and get the rest of your lands from you, during a football game out of all times, played in Serbia out of all places, a rather distasteful and disgraceful expression of a political agenda, which has no place in a sporting arena.

And none of the articles I read mentioned anything about death chants or stones or flares being thrown before the drone entered the stadium.

To understand the Serbs' reaction, imagine this was a game between Iran and Iraq before the revolution and someone flew in a flag over Azadi that denoted Khuzestan being a part of Iraq (as Arabistan). Then a TM player finally bringing down the flag, only to be grabbed by an Iraqi player and paraded around some more.

It's a pretty shameful display from both sides as far as I'm concerned - a football game is NOT a place to make political statements.

Serbia's FF has been fined and suspended many times for fan behavior. They are sick.

In 2006 when they played Bosnia in Belgrade there were banners that said "barbed wire and bullets - Srebenica".

One of their best players, Kezman, also gave the Serbian Nazi salut after he scored and when he was subbed out.

Every time either Croatia, Bosnia, or Albania have played in Serbia something has happened.

Look up Boban's famous kick against a police in Serbia when the same crap happened then. I'll try to find it and paste it.

Amazing that the fans weren't stopped. You can see the Serbian Nazis, Chetniks, on the pitch in black.

I don't really get the Albanian players' reaction when a Serbian player picked down the flag. It's not like he did anything degrading.
Starting from min 20 the Serbian fans were throwing rocks and flares at the Albanian players. One almost got hit on a corner kick by a flare.

They were also making chetnik chants and things like"kill Albanians" during the match.

Not to mention they didn't allow Albanian fans to attend the match.

    Serbia will definitely be punished.
