Imagine this line-up, probably the strongest midfield Iran will ever have within the past decade. 3-6-1 with three central defenders, Nekounam and Andranik to help them out, Hasegawa as a centre midfielder, Masoud as the architect and two lions as wingers with our king up front...

This is nice on paper but probably will not work. Our attacks are usually down the sides and we rely on the wing backs a lot. Ex. Dejagah and Heydari combining or the lb combining with the lm. We don't really attack down the middle as much as we do down the wings. A 3 back formation requires energetic wingbacks who defend and attack and run up and down the pitch. I don't think Dejagah and Jahanbakhsh track back much.

Bottom line is NO NONE IRANIAN should EVER play for TM! We are not Germany, Brazil, Holland or any other country. We are Iranians and only Iranian players should play for our national team! Just becuase someone throws themselves over the cliff, should we do it too?!! Internation games have honestly not as exciting as they used to be 15-20 years ago simply because teams are now bringing naturalized players. Its one thing if a player is born in one country and decides to play, or another just to give them citizenship and invite them to national team.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being 1/2 Iranian! As long as you got the Aryan Blood running through them veins, then you are Iranian in my book! We truly need likes of Danial Davari as it can actually benefit us greatly!

Good for you my brotha! You are more Iranian than a lot of other full blood Iranians out there, Trust Me!! Don't even let any of these ignorant judgmental comments get to you man. Sadly its one of our negative sides of our culture and it takes time getting used to. My daughter is half Iranian half Hispanic since my wife is Colombian and my lil 5 years old is so proud of her Persian side just like you!
