He won't start for Iran, maybe only for a few games. He is decent, but Iran has players who should start ahead of him. Sadeghian is a monster, and a much more dangerous young CAM. Although he plays in Japan, I'd still say that our footballers his age (mosalman, sadeghian, Rahmani) are just better options for the starting spot.Comment

I see no reason for not inviting him, no one is denying we have great young midfielders in Iran and in Europe, but increasing competition and giving more people a chance to play can only be beneficial.
