He is the coach and a very good one... as soon as some young gentlemen win some honours they get together against the coach! ONLY IN IRAN!!!
same in football when Mr. Aghili and Mr. Rahmati withdrew from TM! I am glad Queiroz didnt give in and sticked to his ideas... and I hope Bagheri does the same!!!

This bad behaviour by some athletes we have is shameful... truly shameful.... they just want to run away from hard work and hard training!
Hence, I support Bagheri 100%.

Also Iran did very well few months ago (with coach Bagheri) with new weightlifters in the youth weightlifting championships and also recently (with coach Bagheri) in Asian Weightlifting we won few medals including Gold in heavier weights with fresh blood and new weightlifters.
I trust Bagheri, he is a blessing for our Weightlifting team in the last 3-5 years.

If you haven't been following this saga, after that interview those 5 weightlifters boycotted the team as long as Bagheri is the head coach. I'm siding with Bagheri on this issue, I don't care how good Behdad and the others are, they are acting like a bunch of 5 year olds.

In the end I doubt Bagheri will be removed as he is a very good coach, one of the best Iran has ever had and also he is good friends with Rezazadeh so very small chance he gets fired.. Those 5 idiots will have to put their differences with Bagheri behind them because in the end, Bagheri will not be going anywhere and they are only hurting themselves and their careers..

By the way in the Universiade, youngster Bahador Molaei lifted 196 in snatch and 254 C&J with a total of 450 ! This would give him a silver medal in London 5kg short of Behdad. So when Behdad said in that interview " who else would win you a medal other than me", he might have to eat his words. Behdad has never lifted more than 250 in an official competition even though he's never really had to.

WHAT A SHITTY Interviewer... He is the biggest SHIT I have ever seen.

He really pushed for a fight between the two, specially by provoking the young Behdad Salimi to talk like that about his coach in Live TV.
I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THIS GRABAGE INTERVIEWER!


it is extremely sad to see that such Hashiyehs have also reached Weightlifting!
These things exists in many sports and are settled behind close doors.... I understand Kurosh Bagheri being tough and maybe swearing at times to kick a$$es in training... I also understand Behdad Salimi being frustrated with hash Bagheri style... but come on, this is sport.. no need to discuss it on LIVE TV!

I belive if Salimi was 5 or 6 years older, he wouldn't have fallen for this garbage interviewer's provokation and tricks to speak out such things on live TV.

sad thing is, its done... and I dont know how the two of them are gonna cooperate from now on.
Both Kurosh Bagheri and Salimi are assets for our weightlifting federation.
Bagheri was the World Champion in 2001 and has been in recent years a great coach on World Level Standards for our new born weightlifting team!
Behdad Salimi is the future of our super heavy weight and has soo many years of great medals and honours to come...

its a shame to see this in live tv, journalism at its lowest, the anchor caused this by saying mikhayem hameh chizo berizim ro dariyeh, and then he created this mess of a show and couldnt even wrap it right,

in iran more and more tv hosts are trying to act and behave like ferdowsipor, which in my opinion is a pure khalehzanak that is causing a lot of problems for our football, some even go further and bring these shameful shows to the public, most newspapers are following the same path just to sell few more papers, as resualt theu have destroyed our sports and its sportsmanship culture,

due to lack of care and professionalism by the ignorant IR regime past 30 years we are seeing a chaotic society wity our resources, youth , and golden generations of iranians going to waste ,

in regards to salimi vs bagheri stand off , i think these arguments between the coach and players happen all the time, but its the responsibility of the federation to step in before it reaches here, rezazadeh is a close friends with bagheri , and thats why things are not getting fixed and getting worst, putting salimi away from NT is not very wise as its not beneficial to our weightlifting and our people, some of these problems occur due to rezazadehs lack of experience in managing a highly challenged sports federation,

this was a very childish argument between bagheri and salimi its a shame to see our heroes are draged into these shameful talks
