so, going with Mr MC's twisted Hitleric theories there basically should not be one black player in Euro 2012 as non of them has European roots.
players like Ashley Cole should try to trace his roots and wherever he came from before playing for England!

Teymourian shouldn't play for Iran because he's not Persian? it's funny! because he'll be the 1st one i pick on the team sheet.

    no mate! you are Racist.

i'm surprised PFDC haven't had a word yet! but i usually get warning all the time?

The fact that Barwuah calls himself a naturalized Italian is all the evidence I needed for my reasoning in this thread. He has no bloodline to make him Italian.

Actually no. That's what I have been arguing all along. Regardless of what your ethnicity is, it's the bloodline that I consider. You can have an arab playing for Germany as long as that arab's ancestors lived in Germany when the country was formed.
When Iran was formed, did you have an ancestor that was in Iran at the time? If you did, you are Iranian in my book regardless of where you currently live or grew up. I suppose the question of when exactly the country of Iran became the country of Iran (as opposed to the Persian Empire) is subject to debate. The current country borders don't have a long history so it's really not difficult to find the true nationalities of people.

Actually now that I think about it I doubt his parents are Armenian as far as nationality through bloodlines are concerned. The country of Armenia in its present form has only been around for about 20 years. I would imagine if his parents are not Iranian they were from the Soviet Union but of Armenian ethnicity.

If I am to take your word for it, and assume by Armenian you are talking about nationality and not ethnicity, then as stated above I have a problem with him representing Iran instead of Armenia.

Even one Italian parent whose bloodline traced back to Italy at the time of its formation would have been sufficient but he doesn't even have that.
Where does Zandi or Teymourian's bloodline trace back to? Perhaps if you can answer that I can give you my opinion on them as well.
For all those who oppose my reasoning, none of them have yet answered a question I posed before: Would they be ok with 11 guys whose father and mother are Japanese but gave birth to them in Iran and lived in Iran for all their lives lining up for TM?
If you grow up in Iran even if your parents are from another country you have the right to play for TM.
