    Two points:
First off; I thought clubs have no right to prevent their player from joining their national team during FIFA approved competitions..ie AC..!?
Second, I think it's quite clear that TM is purely just an afterthought for this fag..! The fag lacks any patriotic feeling for Iran, & thinks of TM only as a possible stepping stone to upgrade his career..! Clearly his career has been & continuing to be on a decline..! Less than half a season left on his last year of contract & he still hasn't been able to secure a starting spot or even halfway regular playing time in an at best avg. Bundes liga club. As things stand he will have very little chance keeping a spot in first league in the upcoming season..! So at least people can't go around claiming TM ruining his already wayward career like the such bs claims on Zandi.
Perhaps ghotbi didn't see anything way too special from him in the practice sessions to be worth his time to lobby harder for his services from the club &/or player..!?
Fact is Amin had it right all along..! He said it right the first page of this thread..! A player who lacks the pure passion & love for playing in TM above All Else, does not deserve a call-up in the first place.
If he fails to join us for AC, he must be let go of For Good..! What a fking wanker..!

what a joke this guy is. no pride at all.
even hasebe is risking his spot by leaving for AC 2010 who has trouble breaking into the Japanese starting 11 recently.

yes the guy chose temporary club over his national team doesn't deserve to be respected I promise u he will seat on the bench until end of the season and he will not going to play for his team and end of the season he will kick out of the club to lower club and he will lose chance to play for Iran, we should leave this guy alone first time he said no to us. welldone to Japan player who leave woflsburg to play Japan in AFC Asian Cup 2011

For the love of God, close this thread and for that matter, any Dejagah related thread on football forum. If people are really interested in following this kid, they can go ahead and open a thread in General or International forum.

the saddest part of the story is that our football is so weak that we rely on
such a guy to be our hero.

he's thinking of his career and TM has no hope, if he had hope in TM then he'd join but he knows our TM is a joke......so he has to stay at woflsburg to earn a regular spot which he doesnt have...if he leaves for asian cup, then wolfsburg wont play him til end of the season

The real story in short is :

Ashkan's Nr 1 goal is to become starter in Germany. Iranian NT comes after that.
Now Wolfsburg says since you have already difficulties if you leave in january fr Asian Cup you wont make it in our team.

Who gives damn,he is iranian but doesnt want to play for Iran. Ok ! We dont need players who dont die for Iran

I remember the time when Ashkan turned down the offer to play for TM. Many people on this message board at that time bashed him. I was not one of those people. I remember telling myself that he has the right to play for Germany but if he one day chose Iran, then I would be excited.

A few weeks ago I became ecstatic that he agreed to play for Iran. But now that he has decided to show more commitment to Wolfsburg instead of representing Iran at the Asian Cup, I can officially say that he is a sellout and I hope he never gets called to TM ever again. A big thumbs up to all you TM fans that share my opinion and continue to support TM through thick and thin.
