lol!! IN that case he is doomed anyways. The thing is first of all I dont see him going to the lakers (khoda nakoneh) or the cavs (khoda bekoneh!Originally posted by Masoud_A View PostT-mac moving to Knicks would be bad for Babak on the grounds of that a giant ball hog on the roster would mean less touches for Lee.
) via buyout. The kings wouldnt give away an asset like Kevin martin who had many customers. with sacramento, the way Omri casspi, Bino Udrih and Tyreke evans are playing he wont get much done over there either.
as for amare, I gotta admit I was getting a lil worried with a team like amare and Lebron in the finals! Just didnt wanna see it! I am glad it was antawn. Artest will swallow him so iz all good. Kobe with all of his injuries and mileage at most has this year and next year (if) to add to his championship rings. I think Lebron will start dominating this decade like MJ did back in the 90s----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts

Cleveland just became the favorite to win the title with the Jamison addition. He is the best "stretch 4" in the NBA, aka 3 point shooting power forward. With a pick and roll team like the Cavs, a guy like Gasol will never be able to hang with Jamison on the perimeter.
Go ahead and put some money on the Cavs winning the title right now.

I think they are gonna put artest on him and not gasol. I am more worried about mo williams and boobie Gibson. Yea, I was really happy to hear the news, the guy is one of my fav players. A mobile explosive PF like him will definitely increase Cavs chances.Originally posted by Babak View PostCleveland just became the favorite to win the title with the Jamison addition. The Knicks don't run plays for Lee. He gets his points primarily from the offensive boards, or the few times they dump the ball to him in the low block.Originally posted by Masoud_A View PostT-mac moving to Knicks would be bad for Babak on the grounds of that a giant ball hog on the roster would mean less touches for Lee.
Chandler would be hurt most by T-Mac joining, and probably Gallinari a bit, since a lot of those perimter shots would be spread out between the 3 of them. Lee might even be helped, because T-Mac is one of the greatest passing/playmaking forwards of the decade. Go look at his career stats, he consistently averages more assists than a lot of starting point guards.

I would love to see amare going to Miami. That would make one hell of an eastern conference finals. I would watch that!
as for the lakers, jamison or no jamison, it will all depend on the health of Kobe and Bynum. If they stay healthy I like our chances, but there is no doubt that the cavs got better. But I am glad is jamison and not amare----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts

They can't put Artest on him, because Artest is the only guy who has a shot at even attempting to contain Lebron. Kobe can give a strong effort, but would ultimately be destroyed by Lebron in the post. He can't even go a full game guarding Lebron, much less a 7 game series.Originally posted by persianbruin View PostI think they are gonna put artest on him and not gasol. Odom will spend the most time guarding Jamison and will probably do the best job on him. That's when he'll show his true value to the team and why they paid him all that money this summer.

actually I think you are right about Odom. He will be THAT guy and on the otherside of the court when jamison has to guard Odom.... talking about a stretch 4!Originally posted by Babak View PostThey can't put Artest on him, because Artest is the only guy who has a shot at even attempting to contain Lebron. The thing with Jamison is that he reminds me of Sharif abdulrahim. He gets gobs of points but his teams never win! Yes in College he totally oversadowed his teammate Vince carter when he won national pl;ayer of the year but that was it!----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts

Al thornton's first game as a wizzard:Originally posted by Babak View PostYou swung hard, and missed even harder with that Thornton pick up. Masoud came up huge with the Blatche pickup. I picked him up last week in my 14 team league, anticipating that Jamison, Haywood and Butler would all be moved. I've been busy talking shit to the rest of the guys in my league all day after Blatche's 1st game as a starter. He could probably be a top 50 player for the rest of the season.
Thornton sucks, and won't do much in Washington. Especially since Josh Howard is now the starting SF.
21 points, 5 reb, 2 steals and 4 blocks!! not so bad!
As a matter of fact Better than I expected
By the way go bruins!! Collison, 18 points, 13 reb, 12 assists, 3 steals and one block
I think Chris Paul should be take a seat when he comes back!
by the way Babak, did you see Tyrus's 6 blocks tonight against the cavs? He is the only guy I know who is cable of getting 6 blocks and 6 steals on any given night----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts

Tyrus has value now that he got traded to the Bobcats, he was worthless on the Bulls. Good game for Thornton, I doubt you see too many more of those though. There's a reason the pathetic Clippers traded him for expiring contracts (aka nothing) after all the hype that initially surrounded him.Originally posted by persianbruin View PostAl thornton's first game as a wizzard:

Clippers trading Al was the biggest sign as to how good he really is!! and btw, I dont even expect those #s every night. I will be happy with on avg 12 points, 5 reb, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block
as for Tyrus, he was getting decent #s in Chicago but now it will be better.----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts
