yeah i agree but it seems quite coincidental that its as soon as Barca is whooping Mardrid and in the final of CL and King's Cup that everyone start to claim their Barca fandom. I hope people are noticing the beauty and style of Barca but that doesn't necessarily make them fans....

Gerrard is a byproduct of the HYPE machine in England ... their media are great at doing that. He's good, but he isn't all that.

Of course CL final 05 was all hype. It was rigged. They let Liverpool get up 3-0 before Gerrard got them back. Ditto FA cup final 06 where they set it all up for Gerrard to score in injury time. Someone paid Hiddink and Zidane to say Gerrard is the best. It's WWE wrestling...that's what it is!

It is truly a pleasure to watch Barca play. They are the best in the world and by far the most entertaining. I was sweating bullets watch the second half as Barca pushed forward. Looking forward to a great final.

barca also won 2 consecutive league titles (and a ucl in between) in 04-05 and 05-06. then you won twice and now barca is back where they belong.
not to mention real have been knocked out of ucl in early stages and so the only thing they played for as the league while barca was competing in 3 cups.

I was a neutral fan in this match-up. I love watching beautiful football. Barca plays beautiful football, Chelsea doesn't. I felt sorry for Chelsea today as they did try hard. However the way they played "anti-football" in the first game, made me want them to be eliminated. They didn't even pretend they wanted to play football in that game. They put 9 players in the box and just made sure no football was played. This alone indicated that Chelsea knew they were the inferior team and could not look Barca in the eye. Truly great teams are not afraid of any one and attack every one (ie Man U, Barca). I look forward to what I hope and expect to be a great final between the 2 best teams on the planet.
