hannover really had nothing to say the entire game and their goal came from a direct freekick.

however, we played without lucio, scweinsteiger, ze roberto and ribery and offo came on as subs. they were supposedly being rested for the champions league game on wednesday against lyon.

toni missed some great chances again, his most imoprtant one being a header right infront of the goal which he hit above the bar

but anyways, doesnt matter, "even if lose to maldives 100-0, we are still real madrids daddy." the stats speak for themselves

man utd has a good youth academy, but really, have they produced any good players since scholes/neville/beckham?

Not the ones who let the world alight or become pop idols, but the likes of Darren Fletcher, Wes Brown, John O'Shea are integral part of United when reinforcements have to be called in. Fletcher is perhaps the hardest working midfielder at United and a really under-rated player in England right now.

Also ex-United youngsters like David Healy Northern Ireland set the world alight in their moments, esp. that hat trick against Spain at Windsor Park for the Euro 2008 qualifiers.

anyways, that being said, i knew u would bring up the scoring record of raul.
and u see, thats the main problem, we cant compare a striker and a DM. obviously the striker can always boast about the number of goals scored.
but wat can a defender or a defensive midfielder boast about?? how many goal setups he blocked??
even if hargreaves is not as classy as raul, he still is classy enough to play in teams like bayern and man utd. and the fact that he has won all those awards and come from bayern youth academy is enough to be an answer to the question u asked earlier
