i was trying to enlighten him on the fact that bayern too spends big. and if real spends bigger, it is because we CAN. if bayern had money THEY WOULD TOO. ANY team would. its like blaming a billionare for buying a rolls royce. real is a better team therefore richer therefore buys better players. how hard is it to accept this reality.

here are my scientific calculations:
1)liverpool will not be successful without torres
2)milan will not be successful without kaka
3)arsenal will not be successful without fabregas
4)man utd will not be successful without ronaldo
5)roma will not be successful without totti
6)barcelona will not be successful without messi
7)juve is having trouble with an aging nedved already...

clearly, only a few teams like real madrid and chelsea can afford having more than 1 key player...

exactly. our friends here who are really trying hard to prove a point seem to have forgotten the first few days of schuster as their coach and how many wanted to get rid of him they yet have to realize that not every team in the world has the "galactica" mentality of real madrid

that being said, this bayern team is the pass/fail test for klinsman.
the quality is there in the squad, definitely. its even stronger than the squad of teams like roma,juve and liverpool!! its time to see whether klinsman really is as good as his german national team in world cup 2006 proved or not... the problem could be the coaching staff afterall...

however, its too soon to judge klinsman, and such losses and mediocre performances are expected of any team in the beginnng....

since champions league is our biggest goal, im glad these losses are coming before the champions league. it will only reveal the teams flaws and weak points earlier to the coaching staff and hopefully, they can rectify that.

even in our most horrendous era, which was 2 years back, when bayern finished 4th and failed to qualify for champions league, that same time, the champions league of the previous year was going on still and we had lost ballack to chelsea. even that time, we kicked ur @$$ and embarassed u (AS USUAL )!!! forget about losing to hannover or bremen, that time, we couldnt even qualify to ACL!! our team was in its poorest form since decades!!

i dunno why people tend to stick to speculations and fantasies when they got hardcore results and stats in front of them
