i dont get why people say madrids defense is so bad, you have pepe, arbeol, arbeloa, ramos. marcelo is the only weak point, and he isnt that bad.

on paper our defense is good. yes the left back is the weak position. but its so bad that it costing us all our games. marcelo is an amazing attacker... he is the new roberto carlos. but its impossible to win these days when your fullbacks never play defense. as i said at beginning of season, with our attacking ability, we dont need the fullbacks to come up all the time to leave a gap like that in the defense.

true, so what was the point of buying arbeloa if madrid isnt going to use him? coachs decision? i honestly think this madrid's team only focus is champions league. all the press does is grill them for their recent champions league failures. i think the reason they lost to ac milan, was that they are under so much pressure, while milan was written off from the start. and for la liga, the season ends in may, its time to hit the panic buttion.

lass and xabi protect the middle. most of the goals scored on us come from the flank where the fullback is supposed to be is left to be raped and exposed. btw pepe is past it? lol. hes our best defender.
