benitez screwed Napoli big time this year; losing CL playoff to a weak team at the beginning of season, losing EL semis to Dnipro, failing multiple times in the league to secure CL spot....even on his last day he STILL had a chance to get at least playoff spot and they lose 4-2 at home!

also i believe he hasn't won any league in any country other than his years at valencia in 2001

    Good Luck
such a stupid move! I will miss Ancelotti and thank him a lot for bringing us la decima.

I think its best to retire on top like Zidane did than to wait for your form to drop before you get the arse.

Casillas achieved everything in the game and will go down as one of the greats of all time.

    Perez is ruining Real Madrid.

I'm just glad that it seems like him and Ramos have made up, if Ramos also left it would be a disaster.

Perez will regret letting go Casillas, yes he has not been what he used to be but he still is a world class GK.

I forgot the count how many times he saved Real's ass during CL this year...

Goodbye to the best ever goalkeeper........ an irreplaceable hero, a true Madrid icon, lets hope Casilla or Navas or whoever his replacement can be half the goalkeeper he ever was.

idk man Napoli was a good team, just inconsistent and his tactics werent good. I mean lose to dnipro when you're so close to EL title and direct CL qualification?
and he screwed up a bunch of chances to get ahead of roma and lazio for that CL spot, he lost to parma who is bottom table and other choke jobs against small teams. RM will be different, depends who stays and who they bring for him.

^but we are not going to get anywhere if we just keep changing coaches every two seasons. we need stability to get some consistency and momentum.

Why? Benitez is better than Carlo, the problem with Carlo is that his weakness is defence, meanwhile Rafa is very strong defensively, very organized, rotates the squad a lot and he has been with the club for a long time

what a game....... what a game, absolutely proud of this team, it would take an absolute jesus miracle to win the league but now I am very confident we will comeback against Juve. The spirit of this team was incredible, we were extremely unlucky in the first (4x hit the post) and in the second half Diego Alves was incredible, on another day the score would have finished 10-2, but that is football, we must accept the result and move to the next match. one of the greatest game i have ever seen and makes me proud to be a madrista. I have a great feeling for the match against Juve!!!! Also I have never seen Ronaldo that mentally shaken, he was great in the firsthalf but after he missed his penalty it was a strange sight, arguebly the worlds strongest mental player, dissappeared from the ball, hope he shakes it off and is good to go against Juve.

Ramos was good in midfield, he is a versatile player and he did well connecting passes. He was a bit reckless in his challenges, especially the needless penalty he conceeded. Also Bale looked very good in the time he came on.
