Huntelaar A Doubt For Real Madrid's Clash With Sevilla

The Dutch international looks as though he could miss the match on Sunday evening...

Real Madrid could be without Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar for their game against Sevilla this weekend as he is struggling with injury.

Marca reports that following the win over Getafe on Tuesday, Huntelaar has been training alone with the physical coach in a bid to recover his fitness.

However, at the moment he is rated as a serious doubt for the encounter on Sunday evening and could well be left out by the coach.

Elsewhere, Juande Ramos knows that he will definitely be without Wesley Sneijder, Arjen Robben and Gabriel Heinez as they are injured.

Sneijder limped from the pitch in the clash with Recreativo Huelva and is expected to be out for the rest of the season.

Heinze is struggling with a knee injury and it is not known how long he will be absent for, whilst Robben is expected to be out of action for two to three weeks, meaning he will miss El Clasico.

The defending league champions will also be without Pepe for the game with Sevilla after his sending off against Getafe.

The Portuguese defender is likely to be out for at least five matches after the incident at the Bernabeu and could even miss the rest of the season.

With Barcelona playing on Saturday evening against Valencia, Madrid could well find themselves nine points behind the leaders when they take to the field on Sunday, knowing that only a win will suffice.

Seriously, he doesn't deserve to return to football any time soon, at least sit out the rest of the season. I mean what if someone did this not on a football pitch, but in a street setting and assaulted a pedestrian out of rage for one reason or another. You would end up in jail. Pepe essentially took advantage of a sports environment to viciously attack someone.

i can tell you clearly have problems lol. when did i defend pepes actions? i HATE violent players like materatzi and dont think they should be able to play the game. but i know just like he said, pepe is not a violent player. this was a one time thing and he apologized and regretted it big time; nevertheless it was simply unacceptable, especially when hes playing for real madrid as you said. personally i think he deserves to be banned for the rest of the season... BUT considering the fact that other players do similar stuff and get really light bans, like rooney and RONALDINHO (where the hell were you barca fans then? that was just as bad) stomping on the opponents nuts, and materatzi kicking people all the time, and they only get a game or 2 suspension with a fine, pepe should only be suspended 3 games max with a fine.
